（県北）鹿角市 下モ和志賀地域／Shimowasika Area,Kazuno City

鹿角市は、「青垣」と呼ばれるように山に囲まれた盆地で、昼夜の寒暖差が大きく典型的な内陸性気候であるため、美味しい農産物が育つ地域です。９月、湯瀬渓谷の入り口が見える高台の畑で、そば収穫が行われていました。
Kazuno City, also known as “Green Fortress”, is in a basin surrounded by mountains and has a typical inland climate with a large temperature difference between day and night, making it an area where delicious agricultural products grow.In September, buckwheat seeds were being harvested in a field on a hill near the entrance to the Yuze Gorge.
作業に追われるのは、農事組合法人大里ファームの皆さん。種まきから90日目を目標に、8月下旬から11月上旬まで刈取り作業が続くそうです。
The staffs from Osato Farm, a local agricultural union, were busy with their work. They said they are reaping the crops from late August to early November, aiming at 90 days after sowing the seeds.
ビニールハウスでは、ミニトマトのほか、様々な野菜が栽培されていました。
In the greenhouse, they were growing various types of vegetables such as mini-tomatoes.
