（県南）仙北市 白岩地域 / Shiraiwa in Semboku City

２月１日、第１９回白岩城址燈火祭が行われました。
白岩小学校児童、国際教養大の学生（留学生多数）も参加しました。
On February 1st, the 19th Annual Shiraiwa Joshi Tokasai was held.
Pupils of Shiraiwa Elementary School and students from Akita International University, which included many international students, joined this event.

児童による風船上げや白岩ひでこ節踊り、民謡演奏と踊り。かがり火、五輪マークの聖火台点灯、餅つき、火振りかまくら、２回の花火など盛りだくさんの内容です。
婦人達によるソバ・ウドン、焼きとり等々の出店もあり、大いに賑わいました。
白岩村おこし～プロジェクトＳを軸に、みんな一緒になって楽しい白岩にしたいという心が一つになった時間でした。
The pupils released the colorful balloons in the sky. A traditional dance called “Shiraiwa Hidekobushi” and minyo (folk songs) were performed. A bonfire, a platform with a symbol of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games illuminated with fire, mochi pounding, hiburikamakura (a local winter festival), and fireworks that were shown twice – the event was full of excitement.
Local women served delicious dishes such as soba (buckwheat noodles), udon, and yakitori, which also attracted many visitors to the venue.
With the Shiraiwa Muraokoshi Project S serving as the pillar of the event, it became a great opportunity for the local residents to come together to make an enjoyable community.
