（県北）鹿角市 大里地域 / Ohsato Area in Kazuno City

そばの赤い茎が見られるのは、そばの産地である鹿角市大里地域です。収穫された夏そばの畑の隣には秋そばの畑が広がっていました。管理しているのは農事組合法人大里ファームで、その作付面積は183haです。
Red stems of soba (buckwheat) can be seen in the Ohsato area of Kazuno City, a large buckwheat producing area. Next to the harvested summer crop field was an autumn field. It is managed by the Agricultural Union, Ohsato Farm, whose area under cultivation is 183ha.
この日、同法人主催の「新そばまつり」が開催されました。手打ちそばの他、枝豆・ゴマ・古代米等が入ったそば６種類が９５０杯も出たそうです。地元のそば打ち名人による体験コーナーもあり、多くの来場者で賑わいました。
On this day, the “Shin Soba Matsuri” (New Buckwheat Festival) was held. In addition to hand-kneaded buckwheat noodles, 950 bowls of soba noodles with other ingredients, such as edamame (soy beans), sesame seeds, and wild rice, were served to the visitors.
市販されている乾麺は、鹿角市八幡平にある大日霊貴神社の大日堂舞楽ユネスコ無形文化遺産登録（平成２１年）を記念して開発されました。

大里地域は、「守りたいあきたの里地里山５０」に認定されています。
