（県南）美郷町 七滝地域 / Nanataki in Misato Town

美郷町七滝地域では、毎年町内の３小学校・４年生による植樹を行っています。
平成２１年から「美郷町水環境保全条例」の一環で、水源かん養保安林である七滝山で植樹・育樹活動を通して、水の大切さや森林の働きを学んでいます。
Every year, 4th grade students from 3 local elementary schools plant trees in Nanataki area of Misato town. As a part of "Misatocho Water Environment Conservation Ordinance," since 2009 pupils have been studying the importance of water and the function of forests through planting and nurturing trees in Mt. Nanataki, which is designated as the water conservation forests.
児童、父兄、関係者らが協力して広葉樹であるブナを植えました。後方には以前先輩たちが植えたブナがすくすくと育っています。「大きく育ってね」と願いを込めて、教えられた通り丁寧に植えました。
Pupils, parents, and staff cooperated with one another to plant broad-leaved beech seedlings. Behind them, beech trees planted by the hands of prior students are growing fast. "Grow big," each tree was planted with a wish. Everyone carefully followed the instruction.
各小学校ごとに記念写真。みんな頑張りました。
After that, each school gathered to take a commemorative photo. Everyone did a good job.
現地に行く前に、森林のはたらきを学ぶ学習会も開かれました。
