（県北）八峰町 手這坂地域／Tehaizaka in Happo town

入梅宣言から3日後の平成29年6月24日、菅江真澄(1754～1829)が「桃源郷のようだ」と称えた手這坂集落にたった一家族で暮らす、築160年の木村友冶氏宅（移住5年目）に八峰町主催の「お試し移住ツアー」参加者5名が集まり、茅葺屋根の一部葺替イベントが行われました。
On June 24th this year, Happo town conducted a tour called “A Trial Immigration” in a very old house in Tehaizaka village 3 days after the official start of the Tsuyu, the Japanese rainy season. Masumi Sugae (1754-1829) described Tehaizaka village as an “earthly paradise.” The house in the village where Mr. Kimura lives was built 160 years ago. Moreover, it is said to be the only one family in the community in Tehaizaka village. 5 participants joined the tour and experienced repairing the roof of the Japanese traditional house.
仙人のような風貌の木村友治氏は、5月に環境の保全、中山間地・学術・文化・観光の振興等を目的にＮＰＯ法人を立ち上げました。将来は宿泊も可能な施設を目指し、目的達成に向けて仲間とともに力強く交流の輪を広げています。
Mr. Kimura, who looks like an unworldly man, established an NPO in May 2017 which aims to preserve the environment, promote the rural districts, academy, culture, and restore tourism. In the future, he is aiming to build a facility which can accommodate guests. In order to achieve this goal, he is trying to widen his network.
集落から出て舗装道路を200mほど山の方へ進み、後ろを振り向くと、遠くの山々の光景が真澄の描いた絵と重なって目に飛び込んできました。この日の桃源郷は、参加者の笑い声や水沢川清流の水の音、そして風の音に山里との一体感を感じることができました。
