（県北）大館市 茂内屋敷地域／Shigenaiyashiki in Odate city

７月２３日、大館市茂内屋敷地域で鹿島祭りが行われました。祭りは、鹿島大明神ののぼり旗と腰に刀を差した藁人形を舟に乗せて、疫病や邪気を追い払い、鹿島太鼓を打ち鳴らしながら豊作を祈って長木川に流します。この祭りは、３００年近く続いているとのことです。
※古くから「茂内屋敷」と「茂内屋布」が混在しておりましたが、現在は「茂内屋布」で統一されています。ただし、守りたい秋田の里地里山５０では「茂内屋敷」地域として登録されています。
Kashima festival was held at Shigenaiyashiki, Odate on July 23rd. In the festival, a ship with the Kashima Daimyojin shrine’s banner and a straw doll with a sword is floated to the Nagaki river as people beat the Kashima drums hoping for good harvest, and to keep away plagues and evil spirits. This historical festival has been around for more than 3 centuries in this region.
この祭りは近隣４集落（茂内屋布・水沢・黒沢・新沢）が毎年旧暦６月１日に行っています。薄暗くなってきた夜７時頃、茂内屋布集落と水沢集落を結ぶ橋の上で、両集落合同による鹿島流しが行われました。
It is held in 4 other regions neighborhood community (Shigenaiyashiki, Mizusawa, Kurosawa, Shinsawa) on the first day of June according to the old lunar calendar. The festival starts around 19 o’clock when outside gets a little dark with the sign from two communities Shigenaiyashiki and Mizusawa.
子ども達が通う長木小学校では鹿島太鼓を継続するための練習をしています。集落会館で児童による鹿島太鼓が披露されました。

ゆきさわ産直センター
大館市雪沢は秋田蕗発祥の地。ゆきさわ産直センター前に由来を記した石碑があります。
茂内屋敷地域は、「守りたいあきたの里地里山５０」に認定されています。
