「たそがれ野育園（代表・菊地晃生）」では、入園者が自給自足する力を身につけるために、稲作を中心とした活動をしています。今回、その活動の中で手仕事クラスの“糸つむぎ”を開催しました。
In “Tasogare Wild Garden (Representative; Kose Kikuchi)” there are trying to let members of the garden work in order to develop self-sufficiency through out the activity of rice farming. This time, they held “spinner” as an event of hand crafting.
作業の前に、講師の片山佳代子さん（広島県在住）から、ガンディー思想の「お金に頼らない暮らしと衣の自給」と題して講話がありました。その後自分たちで育てた綿花で糸をつむぎ、手作りのはた織機で布にするまでの体験をしました。将来は自分の衣服を作るのが目標だそうです。
Before everything started, the teacher Kayoko Katayama (who lives in Hiroshima prefecture) gave a talk based on philosophy of Gandy “Not relying on money for living and self-reliance in cloth.” Later, the members made fabric through cotton flowers they grew themselves with using the handmade loom. They said that their future vision is to be able to make own clothes.
